National WOW Day 2014

We, at Scoil Mhuire in Pallaskenry, held our annual sponsored WOW Day (Walk On a Weekday) on Friday, 30 May 2014. All children and staff congregated at the local GAA pitch at 09.30 and then we walked, jogged or ran around the pitch ten times. Some were fitter than others and managed even more than 10 circuits, but we all did our best and felt the benefit of the early morning exercise. The sun kindly shone on us and this made our WOW Day all the more pleasant.
