Guided reading groups

posted 28 Aug 2018, 07:31 by Vincent Gleeson
During guided reading children use Building Bridges strategies, such as questioning, predicting, visualising, declunking and making connections, to interact with the text. The group leader guides the children through the session under the supervision of the teacher, and also selects activities for the group to complete post-reading.
