  • Pond Dipping in Adare Second class children had a wonderful time outdoors today. They went on a pond dipping field trip with Geoff Hunt to Adare Town Park. Great fun was had collecting eels, spine stickle back fish, water tigers and shrimp. They then had the opportunity to study them in more detail under the microscope on returning to the classroom. Míle buíochas to Mrs. Murphy for organising the trip, to Geoff Hunt for sharing his wonderful expertise and knowledge with the children, and to all the staff and parents who helped out. Sincere thanks also to the Parents Association for sponsoring the trip.
