All the children are busy doing Buddy Reading with Mr. O' Sullivan's class. They love to read with the older children and look forward to it every day. The Seniors read their own Special Book of stories which they have written during the year as part of the shared writing programme with their parents and they also read their graded library books. The First Class read their Class Book of stories which they have written and their library books. They also read the Class Irish Books which they have written during the year. The older children ask them questions about their books in order to develop their comprehension skills. This programme is really helping the younger children to become fluent, confident readers and the older children grow in confidence and self esteem and are well on their way to becoming the educators of the future !
