Paleontologist Visit to our class

posted 19 Oct 2016, 07:28 by Vincent Gleeson
We had great excitement today as Michael O'Sullivan a real paleontologist visited our class.
He brought some fossils and explained that people have been wrong thinking that all dinosaurs are extinct.
There are extinct dinosaurs and living dinosaurs. Chickens are an example of a living dinosaur.
We looked at some dinosaurs and decided if they ate meat, plants or fish.
We learned about the Spinosaurus who had a long tail for swimming fast, long teeth and a long mouth for catching fast moving fish.
