Dear Parents,

Thank you for supporting the Senior and 1^st Class teaching team during the year. The children have had great support from Ms O’Connor, Mrs Murphy, Ms Green, Mrs Lillis, Ms O’ Callaghan and Frances as well as Micheal Keating who completed a teaching practice in the class. Thanks also to all the other staff in the school for helping to run everything smoothly.

You will find your child’s final Summer Maths Assessment in the folder. Please sign and return to me.

I will send home copies and workbooks during the week. We have not completed every page of every workbook. We have covered the curriculum in other more interesting ways. Any unused copy books will be sent home too. These can be used in 1^st/2^nd class.

Your child will get their end of year school report on this Thursday if they are in school. Otherwise it will be posted on Friday. For 1^st class their report contains results of standardised tests they have completed in Maths and Literacy. You will get the results in the school report. There is an information sheet on these tests and the meaning of the results for you and your child. As always you can contact me by email below if you have any queries.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone for your support over the past school year. It has been a privilege to teach such wonderful children. Their energy, optimism, enthusiasm and can do attitude have made it a great 2015/2016 for me. I hope you have a great summer.
