NOTICE TO PARENTS about Workshop

A workshop on INTERNET SAFETY and CYBERBULLYING will take place in Pallaskenry NS on Thursday 27 March 2014. The start time will be 8:00pm and the workshop should take about 1 ½ hours.

This workshop should be of interest to all parents but particularly to those with children who own mobile phones and/or have access to computers.

The workshop will

· outline key ideas about Internet Safety,

· provide ideas for how to prevent cyberbullying,

· discuss how to respond to cyberbullying and

· consider how school and home can work together on this important issue.

The workshop will be facilitated by Alanna O’Beirne (Health Promotion Officer for Primary Schools). All staff and parents are asked to attend.
