Debating : Scoil Mhuire V Doon CBS

We were delighted to welcome the debating team from Doon CBS to Scoil Mhuire to debate the motion 'Social Media is Taking Over the Lives of our Teenagers'. Both teams were very well prepared. They put forward some excellent arguments and displayed great competence and confidence in the art of persuasive public speaking. Congratulations to Scoil Mhuire who won the debate and are now through to the semi final. Mile buíochas to their teachers for all their hard work and to the judges for their valuable contribution.
