Schools U13 Football update

Our U13 Footballers played Caherdavin at the NaPiarsaigh GAA grounds on a windy Tuesday afternoon this week. The team played strongly in the first half added by the breeze and led by 1-5 to 1-1 at half time. They battled gamely in the second half but Caherdavin used the wind to their advantage to get back on terms at 2-6 a piece. Dan Cullen in goals pulled off a number of fine saves. However the last 2 scores were Caherdavins running out 4-6 to 2-6 winners. Pallaskenry scorers Padraic Murphy 0-1, Katelyn O'Dwyer 0-1, Eli Goldberg 0-1, Cian Arthur 0-1, Shane O'Sullivan 0-2, Dean Ryan 1-0 and Ray Scannel 1-0.

After two away matches (one draw, one loss) our final match in the group will be at home next Tuesday against Gaelscoil an Ráithín. 1.30 is the expected throw in time at Pallaskenry GAA.
