The Senior Infant and First Class children are busy reading their Special Books which they have written during the year in preparation for this years Book Launch. All the family are invited to the Book Launch. Each child in turn will read two of their favourite stories aloud for the audience. They will then be presented with a certificate and have their photograph taken. After that it will be time to celebrate and have a party!
A big thank you to all parents who did shared writing and shared reading with the children during the year. They have certainly reaped the rewards of all your labour and you have given them a very special gift indeed, a love of reading !
Míle Buíochas also to Mrs. O' Callaghan who did shared reading with the class all year. She voluntarily gave up her time to come into the school to help the children. It's fantastic to see that her talents continue to serve the children of Scoil Mhuire N.S.
