Lenten Campaign

Fifth and sixth classes have been raising money for charity during Lent this year. They raised €1654.19 which was divided evenly between St Vincent de Paul and Daffodil Day (Cancer Care). The pupils collected Easter Eggs and had a raffle. They ran a second hand stall, made cards, signs and bookmarks, made objects using hamma beads, organised activities such as an obstacle course, penalty shots and wet sponges. We also has guess how many sweets in the jar and a candy floss stall. Two beautiful paintings were donated by Maureen Cronin for the raffle. Thanks to the pupils for all their hard work, all those who brought money each Friday and their parents. Many thanks also for all the cakes, buns, biscuits etc donated for the Cake Sale.
