U13 Football Update

Our U13 footballers represented the school today in the second round of matches in the U13B City Football competition.

We came up against a well organised team from Gaelscoil Raheen at Pallaskenry GAA.

The Gaelscoil played with the wind and made a great start leading 2-01 to 0-00 after 5 minutes.

However Pallaskenry came back into the match trailing by 4-03 to 3-03 at halftime.

There were just 3 points scored in the second half of this close encounter leaving the final score

Gaelscoil Raheen 4-05 Scoil Mhuire Pallaskenry 3-04.

Training is on after school this Thursday 3-4pm and another home match is planned against Ballybrown next Tuesday afternoon.

New players are always welcome.
